Deploying telehealth services on MyVinmec application

MyVinmec is an application developed by Vinmec Healthcare System to help connect and improve healthcare for customers. With the telehealth service developed during the epidemic season, customers can now connect directly with a doctor right at the MyVinmec application.

1. Introduction

The telehealth service allows users to get healthcare services from the comfort of their own homes. This rule applies to all cases of unexpected health symptoms that require consultation with a physician. Objects in particular:

  • Children or adults in poor health who have trouble walking
  • Infection risk is high (unvaccinated, working in contagious conditions, F1-F2 of Covid-19 Patients)
  • Mild symptoms may not necessitate testing or scans.
  • Customers who have received treatment at Vinmec acquire new signs and symptoms of a minor illness.
  • In today's world, customers want to minimize time and maximize convenience.

2. In what cases should you not use the service?

Telehealth is NOT suitable for emergencies. If you have an emergency, you should call 911 or go to the nearest medical facility for an examination.

3. Service fee

Telehealth care: 300,000 VND for 30 minutes of consultation (price list is subject to change without notice)

5. Payment method

When customers use the telehealth service, they can pay in 3 ways, including Bank Transfer, Payment by Domestic Card or International Card, find out details on how to pay HERE.

7. Policy and cancellation period

7.1. Cases of service fee refund

  • Application errors, system errors... prevent customers/doctors from making calls or interrupting conversations
  • Vinmec canceled the appointment because the customer did not have the right specialty/service and Vinmec could not provide the right specialty/service for the customer's condition. Vinmec will support to change the customer's schedule to a suitable new service. In there:
    • The customer pays the difference when the new replacement service fee is higher than the previously selected service fee
    • Customers will not be refunded the difference when the new replacement service fee is lower than the previously selected service fee
    • Doctor cancels appointment due to force majeure
    • Other cases Vinmec believes that customers should not continue to use the service due to professional medical reasons or force majeure events.
  • In all other cases, the customer will not be refunded the service fee.

7.2. Service fee refund time

Vinmec will refund the money using the payment method you used to pay the service fee. Refund times may vary depending on the payment method. Please refer to the following refund time:

Payment gateway (Domestic card / Visa / Master / JCB) 5 - 7 working days

(*) Note:

  • Working days do not include Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
  • Refund time will be calculated from the time the appointment is successfully canceled.
  • For Visa / Master / JCB cards, the refund amount will be transferred to your account by the bank within 1-3 working weeks (depending on the policy of each bank).
  • In case after the above time has passed but you still have not received the money, please contact your card issuer for assistance.

8. Terms of Use

8.1. Terms of use

  • We make certain that the Experts/Doctors who engage in the consultation have a lot of expertise and a good reputation in each discipline, and are suitable for the patient's acquired condition or other issues. The Experts'/Doctors' advice, on the other hand, is merely for informational purposes and is tailored to the Client's case based on the information provided by the Client. For the avoidance of doubt, We do not assume any responsibility or assurance as to the efficiency of any Professional/advise Doctor's in improving a Client's health.
  • We recognize and preserve the advantages that Telehealth provides to consumers, such as time and cost savings, as well as eliminating the risk of Covid-19 infection from having to leave the house at particular times. outbreak... This service, however, does not guarantee:
    • Replaces a direct examination at a medical facility or by the Customer's own physician.
    • Efficacy and security of advice: This is contingent on the accuracy, completeness, and honesty of all information provided by the Client, as well as the utilization of additional diagnostic methods on a case-by-case basis.
  • For the advice received, the Customer needs to evaluate and consider before making the decision to apply or related decisions. Furthermore, the Client shall only apply the advice for himself and will do so at his own risk.
  • Customers are responsible for continuing to maintain and keep information about their health and private life confidential even after sharing it with our Specialists/Doctors and other employees.
  • Except with our written consent, the citation, editing, and sharing of any information, in any form, including but not limited to images, sounds, messages, and texts related to the Service provided by the Customer and/or third parties (from the provision/disclosure of information by the Client), is not permitted, regardless of whether the consultation is for or not for the Client.
  • We own and control all information gathered over the course of a Customer's use of the Service. We make no representations or assurances that Customer's use of the foregoing information will not infringe on any of our or third parties' patent, proprietary, intellectual property, or other regulatory rights.
  • Our Services' applications and tools are reliant on our service providers' infrastructure, connection, and services. As a result, the Customer acknowledges that the Service's timeliness, continuity, etc. will be dependent in part on these service providers. In the event of a technical difficulty, We shall act on the Customer's behalf and/or assist the Customer in requesting that the above service providers settle their respective responsibilities to the Customer in line with applicable regulations and legislation.
  • Our availability and ability to operate depends on a wide variety of situations for ourselves and our Customers, including location of service, mobile phone network and internet availability, signal strength, and performance of hardware, software, mobile network operators, mobile phones, and computer servers. Therefore, We do not undertake to satisfy all Customers' requests to use the Service and hereby disclaim liability for limitations of operability that result in errors or delays in the use of the Services.
  • To maintain and improve service standards or for verification purposes, training, appointment period, consultation sessions, post-consultation contact... will be recorded, videotaped and/ or use information, documents, images, ... that customers have provided to us, in accordance with the provisions of law. Unless hijacked by hackers or system problems occur, we are committed to maintaining customer personal information, contact information, diagnosis, treatment, etc. confidential and minimizing unwanted access. It has to be our fault. However, We are not responsible for customer's failure to follow the privacy policy or for customer's information being released from systems other than ours or administered by us.
  • We will amend the text of these Terms and Conditions as well as any instructions relevant to the use of the Service from time to time. Customer acknowledges that his/her use of the Service prior to the release of these Terms and Conditions was at his/her own risk. If the Client fails to commit to following the new adjustments and directions, the modification must be canceled.
  • We reserve the right to deny, terminate, or suspend the Service if we believe it is necessary to comply with the law, the Government's instructions, the Ministry of Health's rules, or other state legal authorities.
  • Customers who use the Service immediately acknowledge that they have read and comprehend the requirements of these Terms and Conditions, willingly agreeing to the terms set forth.

8.2 Complaints

The contents of these Terms and Conditions of Use are controlled by and construed according to Vietnamese law. Any disagreement emerging from the foregoing Terms and Conditions must be resolved prior to submitting a request to deliver services to Us.
