Since its establishment, after more than 7 years of development, Vinmec Ha Long has made its mark on local people not only thanks to its high-quality medical services and modern treatment techniques but also thanks to its active health education communication activities over many years.
Since its official operation, Vinmec Healthcare System has identified health education communication (HE) as extremely important. The implementation of HE activities not only helps reduce pressure on provincial hospitals but also contributes to creating a healthy Vietnamese community. Realizing the need to raise public awareness, Vinmec Ha Long has actively implemented completely free HE activities every month. The program is organized to provide people with useful knowledge about health and medicine. In addition to maintaining FM and AM channels to serve viewers/listeners. Vinmec Ha Long also actively spreads knowledge on social networking platforms to expand its scope and reach more local people.
Programs and activities are carried out periodically every month with 1-2 broadcasts, starting from October 18, 2020 to the present. Typically, the radio and television program for the community "Talking with Doctors" of Quang Ninh Radio and Television Station has brought a lot of useful knowledge to local people, raising awareness of the importance of seeking medical services as well as providing instructions on disease prevention measures and self-treatment of essential diseases.
From December 2, 2022, Vinmec Ha Long has started organizing club activities for the elderly. This activity is held periodically every Friday with the participation of doctors and a team of experts. Here, the elderly will be able to gain useful knowledge of preventive medicine, measures to protect health from many common diseases in the elderly, as well as learn more secrets of healthy living, healthy diets, and useful exercises.
In parallel with the above activities, on November 25, Vinmec Ha Long planned and organized health education communication on prenatal care, pregnancy management and newborn care instructions. The program received much attention, attracting many future parents to visit and present a total of gifts worth 24,000,000 VND. Accordingly, Vinmec Ha Long also brings periodic quarterly health education communication activities to provide and improve knowledge about health and medicine for the people.
Through the active implementation of GDSK activities, Vinmec Ha Long hopes to spread meaningful messages of medical knowledge communication programs to the people. This activity not only helps improve community health but also contributes to building a society with high awareness of health and medicine.
