In the art exchange program on the evening of December 21st, organized by the Cancer Patient Support Fund—Bright Tomorrow (Ministry of Health), Vinmec was honored to receive the Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Health for its positive contributions to the community in 2017.

On June 30, 2023, the Cardiovascular Center, Vinmec Central Park International General Hospital organized a seminar to update knowledge and discuss cardiovascular disease treatment with doctors from Vinh Long General Hospital. Also here, people were screened for cardiovascular disease completely free of charge.

On the morning of August 4, Deputy Minister of Health, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Truong Son, Head of the Ministry of Health's special standing unit in Da Nang City, visited and inspected the pandemic prevention work at Vinmec Da Nang International General Hospital. The Deputy Minister inspected the facilities and operations in the testing area and the yellow zone of the Hospital.

In October, Vinmec Central Park International General Hospital launched Cancer Prevention Week with the participation of experienced domestic and international experts in the field of oncology.

Amid the complex and intense progress of the COVID-19 pandemic in Ho Chi Minh City, from June to August 2021, Vinmec Central Park International Hospital actively participated in the community vaccination campaign.

The program, organized by Thiện Tâm Fund and Vinmec International General Hospital under VinGroup, is scheduled to be implemented in the first six months of 2012.

Joining hands with Ho Chi Minh City to combat the pandemic and responding to the call from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, from June 21, Vinmec Central Park Hospital dispatched doctors, nurses, and support staff to actively participate in COVID-19 vaccination efforts at Cat Lai Industrial Park (District 2), Tan Tao Industrial Park (Binh Tan District), and Thu Duc High-Tech Park (Thu Duc City).

In addition, Vinmec Times City will conduct training to enhance capabilities in quality management, infection control, and clinical pharmacy; continuous training programs on resuscitation and anesthesia; and nursing care for patients for the doctors at Ha Tinh General Hospital.

Reflecting on those historic days, conditions in the outbreak areas were tough, movement was inconvenient, and meals were irregular. Those working in the heart of the pandemic had to work continuously for many hours in protective gear under the summer heat, with a sampling workload many times higher than expected. Vinmec staff and volunteers also faced significant external pressures, but they persevered, adapted quickly, and met the real-world demands.

Professor Nguyen Thanh Liem, Director of the Vinmec Research Institute of Stem Cell and Gene Technology, stated that the institute is focusing its resources and inviting domestic and international experts to develop an action plan and implement testing procedures to ensure the highest accuracy in the shortest possible time. This program is aimed at supporting underprivileged families searching for the graves of their fallen relatives, funded by the Thien Tam Foundation under Vingroup.

“With this cooperation agreement, we hope to have many opportunities to learn and access the most advanced diagnostic and treatment methods for the team of doctors and nurses treating at the hospital to meet the increasing needs of the people for medical examination and treatment,” Mr. Hanh said.
