The Thien Tam Fund of Vingroup Corporation has just announced a program to support treatment costs at all Vinmec hospitals from now until December 31, 2018.

The program is for Vietnamese patients with serious illnesses such as cardiovascular diseases, oncology, and emergency resuscitation with support of up to 70% of costs.

The special feature of this Treatment Cost Support program is that it applies to all patients nationwide (except those with private insurance) without requiring additional preferential conditions such as poor households, near-poor households, people in difficult circumstances, and people with revolutionary contributions.

The supported specialties are Cardiology (interventional cardiology, cardiovascular surgery); Oncology (chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery) and Emergency Resuscitation (stroke, blood filtration, thrombolysis). These are all strong specialties that have affirmed Vinmec's professional reputation. In particular, Vinmec is one of the few hospitals in Vietnam that has mastered many complex cardiovascular techniques, the latest being transcutaneous aortic valve replacement (TAVI) - one of the most modern cardiovascular interventions in the world.

The entire support fund belongs to the 1,500 billion VND program dedicated to humanitarian activities in the medical field implemented by Vingroup.

"Patients with cardiovascular, oncological, and emergency resuscitation are increasing rapidly and most of them are seriously ill, requiring long-term treatment and high costs. Supporting treatment costs for the above 3 specialties will create great opportunities for patients to be treated for serious illnesses and receive health care in the best conditions" - Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Phu - Deputy General Director of Vinmec Healthcare System shared.
