The difficult fertility journey
I've been on a mission to find my children for more than 7 years, and I've had a history of miscarriages twice and a premature twin birth once at 22 weeks. My relationship with my children was predestined, but I never dared to consider it during this lifetime. Once more, I will be expecting twins. However, my U-shaped cervix only has a 14mm opening at 26 weeks, increasing the risk of a premature birth and the need for hospitalization for prenatal care. A boy and a girl were delivered at only 30 weeks, each weighing only 1.3–1.35 kg, after I held out for just 4 more weeks and prematurely ruptured my membranes.
Having just been born, the children were brought to the Department of Pediatrics. I received lung maturity injections at 26 weeks, but it only worked for baby Na, and baby Chuoi's lungs were white, so he had to breathe oxygen for 1.5 months and a few times to wean off the ventilator.
Doctor. Nguyen Ngoc Chien, the most compassionate physician in the Gulf of Tonkin, was constantly attentively watching me back then to ensure that both me and my children had the best possible results. He helped me succeed right from the first embryo transfer at Vinmec Hospital. Above anything, beyond what my family had hoped for.
When I am worried because my children have any abnormal signs, even the smallest, I always consult a doctor to calm down. The doctor often visited the children when in the Department of Neonatology, encouraging me to rest assured to wait for the day to welcome them back to their beloved home.
