In order to educate teachers, parents, and students in particular about the value of thyroid and breast cancer screening starting at a young age, Vinmec Da Nang International Hospital organized a health education workshop on these diseases on September 19th, 2022, in collaboration with the board of directors of Le Quy Don High School (Da Nang).
This is one of a number of community health education and breast-thyroid cancer screening projects that Vinmec Da Nang will be implementing in 2022. Vinmec Da Nang ran an educational program and screening for several target groups, like corporations, universities, etc... prior to Le Quy Don High School.
Following the program, on September 23rd, 2022, the hospital will use three cutting-edge ultrasound machines to transport from the hospital to the school and test roughly 200 female kids, 70 female teachers, and parents for pathological risks.
Within the framework of the initiative, highly qualified medical professionals and skilled technicians from Vinmec Da Nang will offer free guidance and respond to inquiries about pathology. The medical staff also provides guidance on how to prevent diseases through appropriate exercise and nutrition based on age and health status.
