After that terrible day, I'm completely happy

Nguyen Hoang An, who made that risky decision seven years ago, is now in grade two and has a lovely face. She grinned and continued, pointing to the image on the wall, "T (Hoang An's common name) loves to wear the traffic policeman's uniform, I don't know who it looks like!"

Meet Ms. Hoang Thi Bich Hue in her small cottage in Song Lo District, Vinh Phuc Province, on an April day. When she speaks passionately about her kid, Nguyen Hoang An, her eyes light up (the first IVF baby of the Reproductive Center).

She invited us over with a cup of hot green tea, saying, "You and I were both born and raised in this land, you're a soldier working at a unit near your house, and she's opening a small grocery shop." She decided to sell her husband in order to supplement her income. The lovely country's existence continues, and both brother and sister are looking forward to welcoming a new family member into their lives. They went to professional hospitals to check and find the cause because they couldn't see the outcomes the longer they waited. Anxious to "find their children" and under pressure from both sides of their families, they went to specialized hospitals to check and identify the cause. I was taken aback when I learned the doctor's diagnosis: I had polycystic ovarian syndrome, and he had poor sperm. The likelihood of having children is quite low!

After multiple visits to prominent hospitals across the country to learn about assisted reproduction technologies. They were introduced to the Reproductive Support Center of Vinmec Hospital by coincidence. Ms. Bich Hue was chosen as the first IVF/IVF case. Dr. Jean Clement Sage and Prof. Dr. Nguyen Viet Tien, Deputy Minister of Health, worked together to perform egg retrieval and embryo transfer for her.

Waiting 14 days for a blood test result appears to be more difficult than waiting 4 years for a baby. In the arduous search to find her child, the excitement mingled with the fear of failure made her feel insecure at all times. Finally, when Dr. Le Thi Phuong Lan, the Deputy Director of Vinmec Hospital's Reproductive Center, revealed that Ms. Hue's Beta HCG index had reached 100 and she was positive she was pregnant, all the strain seemed to be relieved. After nearly 5 years of waiting, he was released and resigned. Despite the fact that the baby was late and conceived in an unconventional way, she did not experience morning sickness during the pregnancy, was in good health, and the baby developed normally with all of the necessary vitals. And the miracle came, after 9 months of pregnancy, Ms. Hue gave birth to a baby Hoang An weighing 3.1kg by Cesarean section.

She suddenly remembered that her daily responsibility was to bring up Hoang An from school as she was telling us a story. She hurriedly withdrew with us, but not before asking us to give our best wishes to the doctors who had brought her and her husband such joy. She stated, "If I get the opportunity, I would bring him back to "where happiness begins"......
