"A cancer patient worries about the cost of treatment, the quality of the environment during treatment, and other factors in addition to whether the disease can be treated. I no longer have any reservations about receiving treatment at Vinmec Hospital's Radiation Center for breast cancer.
Ms. Huynh Diep (Ha Giang) showed a lot of love to the medical personnel, technicians, and Chinese workers at the Radiation Therapy Center, Vinmec Times City International General Hospital after the breast cancer radiotherapy procedure. Ms. Diep compared her six months of treatment at Vinmec Radiation Center to "going on vacation" because the facility was very helpful in explaining the disease and offering the right diet, assisting with room assignments, and covering costs. Ms. Huynh Diep wrote a lengthy letter to the Vinmec Times City International General Hospital's Radiation Therapy Center with all of her love and affection.
The letter's full language is as follows: "Y was diagnosed with stage 3b breast cancer with 19/20 metastatic lymph nodes after undergoing surgery and chemotherapy at a hospital in Hanoi. Due to the advanced stage of my disease and the extensive lymph node area, radiation therapy in the amount of 25 to 30 doses was recommended for me. I chose Vinmec Times City Radiation Therapy Center (Hanoi) for treatment after doing my research and speaking with other patients in the Club of Resilient Women via social media and the Vinmec Hospital website to seek additional medical care.
My initial impression of the Center was that it was not like visiting a hospital due to the green, airy, and pleasant environment. There was also no scene of jostling queues, shouting, or grumpy service employees when I arrived. I received thoughtful questions, attentive directions, and a cordial welcome from the Cuc administrative personnel. I freely conveyed my desires, and Dr. Dang patiently listened as I described the progression of the illness and earlier treatments. Drs. Hiep, Dang, and Ha of the Center gave me advice regarding the best radiation therapy plan for my illness and condition following the consultation.
I had radiation treatment in Hanoi for six weeks as a patient from a tiny area. I received 30 radiation doses. I had to rent a home because I was unable to travel home during the day. The personnel at the center introduced me to a number of locations, including flats for rent in the heart of Times Square with extremely reasonable rent and all the amenities a family would need. In order to save future patients from having to search for a place, the administrative friend revealed that she always requests the innkeeper's phone number when a patient books a room. To get to the hospital for treatment, I only need to walk through two buildings in five minutes every day. The phrase "settle down and live happily" is still used. But I chose to receive therapy here for six weeks. Having a nice, secure, and handy place to stay gives me confidence in my everyday medical care. As I stated on my Facebook profile, I see myself as a transient resident of this city.
When the technicians led me into the engine room on the first day of shooting, I couldn't help but feel anxious because I was by myself with such a large equipment. Technicians like Son, Tuan Anh, Nam, Dung, and Hieu reassured me, however, that the radiation treatment only takes a few minutes and is painless because this facility has the world's most current and cutting-edge radiation machine. Additionally, the technician has extensive experience using the procedure. When the first shot passed and the technicians questioned me after I emerged from the engine room, I joked back happily and comfortably. When the first shot passed and the technicians questioned me after I emerged from the engine room, I joked back happily and comfortably. I felt as light as a feather. As I was told to use anti-scald medicine and make sure I ate throughout treatment, I safely completed 30 doses of radiation without suffering any burns, in contrast to what I've heard about radiation patients who experience a blackened face or serious burns. I'm not sure if it's because I was made to feel welcome and psychologically at ease, because I waited in a calm, clean, and quiet waiting room, because the radiation time was adjusted to fit my schedule, or for any other reason, but I found that my six weeks of treatment went smoothly and comfortably. I eagerly await treatment time each day so I may say hello to and share my thoughts with the medical staff and other patients receiving the same care. The live orchestra that performs classical music every day in the hospital foyer makes me feel calm as I leave. I occasionally ask the band to play my favorite songs, and they cheerfully oblige. I felt extremely happy when I returned home.
I was a little concerned about money the day I was released from the hospital. But when I paid, I discovered that, in addition to being partially covered by social insurance, I was also supported by the Thien Tam Charity Fund of Vingroup with 50% of the treatment cost, which brought me unexpected comfort. Only six weeks of medical care cost me more than ten million dollars in hospital fees. Patients with cancer have the financial option of doing this.
I was really appreciative of the staff at Vinmec Radiation Therapy Center when I returned home from the hospital. My brothers and sisters at the Center adore me and frequently phone, text, and inquire about my health and well-being. Especially when I complete the social insurance wage payment procedures. Even though it took me a while to leave the hospital, Cuc, a member of the administrative team, devotedly assisted me in completing the necessary paperwork for the Vietnam Social Security before sending it right to my home address. require me to go right away.
I regard Vinmec Times City Hospital Radiotherapy Center as a location where cancer patients can put their trust and be freed from their fears and suffering due to illness.
