2. Uses of Beprosone
Beprosone is indicated in the treatment of:
- Atopic dermatitis with one of the following symptoms: Dry skin, peeling, blisters, redness, itching, tingling, discomfort, dark skin, burning, tight skin, dermatitis.
- Eczema with symptoms such as red spots with unclear borders, itchy rash, then blisters, easy to break, skin prone to ulceration and inflammation.
- Lupus erythematosus
- Psoriasis, insect bite irritation
- Herpes dermatitis, diaper rash, seborrheic dermatitis
3. Contraindications of Beprosone
Contraindications to Beprosone:
People who are hypersensitive to Betamethasone, Dipropionate, other corticosteroids, or any ingredient of the drug.
If irritation, hypersensitivity or other reactions occur, the patient should stop using the drug to avoid unfortunate consequences.
4. How to use Beprosone
Patients use Beprosone by applying it topically. Before applying the drug, wash your hands and the skin area that needs to be applied with clean water, then dry it, take a sufficient amount of cream on your fingertips, apply a thin layer evenly to cover the damaged skin, and keep the drug on the skin for as long as possible.
The dosage will depend on the size of the damaged skin area. You can take different amounts of medicine, but you need to take enough, not too much or too little. Apply a thin layer once or twice a day as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
5. Side effects of Beprosone
Local reactions that may occur when using Beprosone skin cream are reported as burning sensation, dry skin, itching, irritation, folliculitis, increased hair growth, acne-like rash, hypopigmentation, blistering, secondary infection, skin atrophy, striae, and miliaria.
During use, if side effects of the drug occur, the patient should stop using it and immediately notify the doctor or go to the nearest medical facility for timely treatment.
6. Notes when using Beprosone
The safety of the drug when used for pregnant and lactating women has not been proven, so the drug is not given to these patients.
