Since October 2019, Vinmec Times City International General Hospital has been officially recognized as a practical training facility for health science majors, including: Medical Doctors, Bachelor of Nursing, and Medical Residents.
In the Official Dispatch dated October 29, 2019 , the Hanoi Department of Health announced that Vinmec Times City International General Hospital meets all the necessary conditions to be recognized as a practical training facility for health science majors in the following specialties:
- Undergraduate level: Medical Doctors, Bachelor of Nursing.
- Postgraduate level: Medical Residents.
With its status as a hospital capable of training in these fields, Vinmec Times City is ready to welcome students from medical training institutions nationwide who wish to undertake practical training at the hospital.
Since its establishment, Vinmec Times City Hospital in particular, and the Vinmec Healthcare System in general, have always prioritized educational activities, including the development and enhancement of professional skills in medical diagnosis and treatment. In March 2018, Vinmec officially received a continuous medical education (CME) code from the Ministry of Health.
With a new vision and a commitment to developing an academic healthcare system, Vinmec is focusing on preparing human resources and infrastructure to develop a university hospital model in collaboration with VinUni University, which will begin its first enrollment for the 2020-2021 academic year. Following Decree No. 111/2017/ND-CP dated October 5, 2017, on organizing practical training in health science education, Vinmec Times City has made thorough preparations and received the recognition mentioned above from the Hanoi Department of Health.
