[Vinmec Times City] Announcement of launching the continuing medical education course "Comprehensive patient care"

Vinmec International Hospital System follows international operation standards, with the goal of comprehensive and perfect health care.

Comprehensive care is the work of medical staff and the patient's family, taking the patient as the center, meeting the needs of treatment and daily activities to ensure the safety, quality and satisfaction of the patient. This is one of the essential knowledge and central elements of the Vinmec nursing practice model to bring the best value to patients.

1. Training objectives

After this course, enrollees can:

• Present the basic content of comprehensive patient care as prescribed in Circular 07/2011/TT-BYT issue by Vietnam Ministry of Health.
• Describe the way to classify patients and models of organizing patient care in the hospital.
• Apply knowledge of comprehensive patient care including physical, mental, social and intellectual care to daily patient care practice at Vinmec hospital.
• Select and apply appropriate care models for the department/room/hospital where the enrollees work to fully perform the professional tasks of patient care.
• Communicate efficiently with patients, their families and colleagues in accordance with ethical principles in care practice.
• Coordinate with doctors to assess and classify patients correctly and apply the steps of the nursing process to implement effective patient care plans.

Target students: Nurses, midwives, technicians

5. Benefits: Students are granted a 27-credit CME certificate with code C26.17 after training.
