Stroke and Cognitive Disorder Training Program in Hong Kong

From July 3rd to 6th, 2019, Vinmec had sent a doctor to participate in a training program on Stroke and Cognitive Disorders held in Hong Kong. The training program has empowered the physician to enhance his clinical skills and improve patient outcomes.

The participating doctor: Master, Doctor Vu Duy Chinh - Rehabilitation Doctor, Unit of Regenerative Medicine and Psychoeducation Clinic - Vinmec Times City International Hospital.

Training Lecturers: Many lecturers and doctors with in-depth expertise in the field participated in the instruction of this training course

Training program for Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) technique in Australia

The transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) technique—also known as transcatheter aortic valve replacement—is one of the most complex interventional cardiology techniques in the world currently. It is indicated for patients with severe aortic valve stenosis, especially in difficult cases where surgery is not an option due to advanced age, frailty, or accompanying chronic conditions. Vinmec is the first hospital in Vietnam to independently perform this technique, achieving a success rate of over 98% in TAVI interventions.
