Specialty Obstetrics Scientific Session: Updating Knowledge on Obstetric Care and Treatment

The purpose is to update and enhance the professional skills of midwives and obstetric nurses in monitoring and detecting fetal heart abnormalities and uterine contractions on the monitor. The Women's Health Center at Vinmec Times City Hospital is organizing a scientific session with the topic "Clinical Case of Fetal Distress: Detection and Management Through CTG Monitoring."
Output objectives of the training program

Present updated knowledge in CTG monitoring practice.
Present basic steps in CTG analysis and how to handle corresponding abnormalities shown on CTG.
100% of participating medical staff achieved Post-test results above 80%.

1. Time
(Students choose 1 of 2 sessions)
Session 1: 15:00 - 17:00 on 21/06/2024.
Session 2: 15:00 - 17:00 on 27/06/2024.

2. Location: Hall on the 7th floor - Vinmec Times City Hospital.
- Online via Team with other Hospitals in the Vinmec Healthcare system

4. Estimated number of participants: 40 people/session in person and 70 online via Team.

Participants: Nurses and midwives in inpatient areas of TTSKPN are required to participate 100%. Nurses and midwives in outpatient areas of the Center for Health Care Services participate at least 50%, and medical staff from other departments (Emergency nurses, HSCC nurses...) are encouraged to participate.

5. Benefits: Trainees are granted a 1.5 credit hour CME certificate under code C26.17 after training. Lecturers are granted a 2 credit hour certificate for each training session.

Note: Healthcare staff at Vinmec Times City Hospital who are interested and belong to the aforementioned target groups are kindly requested to register for the course with the training department by June 20, 2024.
