Specialized training program in Nuclear Medicine in the United States

Currently, the application of nuclear medicine in diagnosing and treating various diseases, especially cancer, is becoming increasingly common. To provide opportunities for the medical team to enhance their knowledge and expertise in this field, Vinmec sent doctors to participate in an in-depth training course in Nuclear Medicine in the United States.

The course took place from September 2018 to September 2019 at the Department of Nuclear Medicine, Stanford Hospital, USA.

Training program for Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) technique in Australia

The transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) technique—also known as transcatheter aortic valve replacement—is one of the most complex interventional cardiology techniques in the world currently. It is indicated for patients with severe aortic valve stenosis, especially in difficult cases where surgery is not an option due to advanced age, frailty, or accompanying chronic conditions. Vinmec is the first hospital in Vietnam to independently perform this technique, achieving a success rate of over 98% in TAVI interventions.
