Last month, I was pregnant but had a miscarriage at 7 weeks and underwent a termination of pregnancy (TOP). During that time, my husband and I had sexual intercourse. Suddenly, today I started experiencing persistent lower abdominal pain, which worsens upon standing and improves when lying down. Therefore, if you have abdominal pain, you should see an obstetrician for consultation and examination to have appropriate treatment. You should not self-medicate at home. After an abortion, if your condition is stable, all activities can return to normal. You can resume sexual intercourse when there is no more vaginal bleeding.
