To enhance clinical pharmacy expertise, Vinmec sent Clinical Pharmacist Nguyen Thi Thanh Nga to participate in the Clinical Pharmacy Model Internship Program in Australia.
The course took place from May 10, 2019 to May 31, 2019, at Alfred Hospital and Monash Children's Hospital (Australia). The program was organized by Alfred Hospital.

Training faculty: Clinical Pharmacy Team from Alfred Hospital and Monash Children’s Hospital, Australia.
Training format: Practical training.
Training content:
- Joining hospital ward visit with doctors, pharmacists, and nurses.
- Observing clinical pharmacy practices in the Internal Medicine, Emergency, and Pediatrics Departments.
- Participating in and observing clinical pharmacy training sessions and pharmacovigilance activities conducted by clinical pharmacists.
- Observing the approach of pharmacists in the Emergency Department during Stroke calls and Sepsis calls.
