Pathogenesis of Henoch-Schonlein purpura and H.pylori . infection
Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is one of the factors involved in the pathogenesis of various gastrointestinal diseases and may play a potential role in some extraintestinal diseases. Eradication therapy can improve the manifestations of Henoch-Schonlein purpura (HSP) and reduce the recurrence of Henoch-Schonlein purpura. Therefore, the results suggest that appropriate methods for detecting H. pylori infection should be applied in children with Henoch-Schonlein purpura.

Recently, H. pylori infection or H. pylori gastritis has been observed to be associated with iron deficiency anemia (IDA), and eradication therapy has been reported to be effective in improving ferrintin levels or even curing iron deficiency anemia. A similar relationship between idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP), a common hematological disease in children, and H. pylori infection has also been revealed through several clinical studies conducted by physicians.
