Gastrointestinal stromal tumor is a tumor that occurs in the gastrointestinal tract such as the stomach, small intestine, colon, rectum, and even the esophagus. Gastrointestinal stromal tumors can be diagnosed by ultrasound or biopsy. Gastrointestinal stromal tumors are mainly treated with surgery.

Ovarian yolk sac tumor is highly malignant, rapidly progressive, ruptures the capsule, adheres to surrounding structures, invades locally, disseminates into the peritoneum and metastasizes. Therefore, it is considered the most common malignant germ cell tumor of the ovary in children.
