Vinmec tissue bank

Vinmec Tissue Bank (VTB) is a non-profit multi-tissue bank that operates inside the Vinmec healthcare system. Vinmec Tissue Bank was founded in October 2019 on the foundation of the Cord Blood Bank, which has been in operation since March 2014. On November 24, 2019, the Ministry of Health formally appraised Vinmec Tissue Bank, and on February 26, 2020, it was given a Tissue Bank Operation License with the scope of operation as a Multi-Tissue Bank.

Vinmec Tissue Bank focuses all resources to become a world-standard and pioneering the reception, processing, storage, and preservation, and supply of tissues, cells, and other biological samples for medical examination, treatment, training, and research in the era of medicine regenerative medicine and individual medicine/precision medicine, in line with the core values of Vinmec Healthcare System as a whole "Innovation, Responsibility, Trust, and Perfection."

Vinmec Tissue Bank's professional team has received extensive training at premier universities in Vietnam and abroad, and they work closely with professors, scientists, and a team of leading and prestigious medical doctors in the country and the world.

Mission

Vinmec Tissue Bank's mission is to provide services and meet the needs of domestic and international agencies, organizations, and individuals in collecting, receiving, processing, storing, preserving, and exchanging exchange tissue, cell, and biological sample sources with all relevant information according to international standards; aims at medical examination, treatment, training, and research in the fields of biomedical, regenerative medicine, individual medicine, and research.
