From 6/5/2024, all clinics and hospitals under Vinmec Healthcare System officially implement digitization, stop printing hard copies in support of Vinmec Go Green campaign in order to reduce the amount of paper/ printing film, protecting the environment
Vinmec Go Green is a campaign initiated by Vinmec Healthcare System in order to implement solutions in operating the hospital while minimising environmental resources use and reducing carbon footprint, plastic and electrical waste. Among these efforts, digitizing Medical film is a key activity of the campaign. Accordingly, Vinmec will stop printing hard copies and provide digital copies for most imaging procedures (Ultrasound, X-ray, CT, MRI, endoscopy) belonging to various medical records (outpatients, inpatients, emergency, health checkups …
With digitizing medical film, patients will now receive and manage their result through the app MyVimec or through SMS for those who have not downloaded the app and link their medical records
Tutorial on how to view imaging result in MyVinmec app
Step 1: Access the app and click on the notification to view the list of medical records (if medical records are not yet connected, please read the connection guide HERE).
Step 2: Select medical record you wish to view
Step 3: Select “View Images” in the detailed record for each type of image
Step 4: Proceed to detailed imaging interface
Tutorial on how to view imaging result via SMS (in case have not downloaded and connect with medical records through MyVinmec)
Step 1: Open the link and view imaging sent through SMS
Step 2: Enter password provided in the SMS
Step 3: Access the image display interface
By transitioning imaging to digital format, customers can flexibly access healthcare anytime, anywhere on a single platform. It also makes sharing medical information with friends and family members easier than ever. Meanwhile, customers also contribute to reducing excess printing paper, saving the environment and building a sustainable green future.
Note: In case customers wish to have hard copies, please contact medical staff. Vinmec will charge extra for specific requests
