Cavinton 5mg contains the active ingredient Vinpocetine, a semi-synthetic alkaloid. It has neuroprotective and brain-protective effects, inhibiting voltage-dependent sodium channels, thereby increasing the neurotransmitter (intracellular cGMP levels) in the brain.
