1.     What is Phlebodia 600mg?

Phlebodia 600mg is a medication that contains the main ingredient Diosmin. The effects of Phlebodia include:

  • Increasing venous tone.

Phlebodia is indicated in the following cases: 

  • Treating symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency such as heavy legs, leg pain, discomfort in the morning, edema, and leg cramps during sleep
  • Treatment to support fragile capillaries
  • Treatment of symptoms associated with acute hemorrhoids.

Phlebodia should not be used in the following cases: 

  • Individuals allergic to any component of the medication
  • Women who are breastfeeding.

2.     Dosage and administration of Phlebodia

Phlebodia is taken orally, swallowing the tablet whole with a glass of water. The dosage for Phlebodia 600mg is as follows:

  • For lymphatic venous insufficiency: Take 1 tablet daily before breakfast.
  • For acute hemorrhoids: Take 2-3 tablets per day, with meals.

There is no information regarding overdose of Phlebodia. In case of overdose, you should stop taking the medication and inform your doctor for supportive treatment of symptoms.

If you forget to take a dose of Phlebodia, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose at the scheduled time. Do not take a double dose.
