Therefore, it’s difficult to accurately assess the pregnancy risk.
That being said, if you had sex 4 days after your period ended and assuming you have a regular 28-day cycle with 5 days of menstruation, this would mean you had intercourse on the 9th or 10th day of your cycle. There is a potential risk for pregnancy. Additionally, relying on the "safe period" method for contraception is not very effective.
