- Additionally, Lipanthyl NT 145mg is used to reduce the progression of diabetic retinopathy in type 2 diabetic patients. However, it does not replace the need for blood pressure, blood glucose, and lipid control in managing diabetic retinopathy progression.
2. How to Use and Dosage of Lipanthyl NT 145mg
Method of Administration: Lipanthyl NT 145mg is administered orally. Patients should take the medication with water to ensure effectiveness. It can be taken at any time of the day, with or without food.
Dosage Recommendations:
- Adults: The recommended dosage is 1 tablet (145mg) once daily.
- Elderly patients without renal impairment: No dose adjustment is required.
- Patients with renal impairment: Dosage depends on creatinine clearance levels:
- Creatinine clearance >60ml/min: 1 tablet (145mg) daily.
- Creatinine clearance <60ml/min: Lipanthyl NT 145mg is not recommended.
