1. What is Gynotran?

Gynotran is packaged in a box containing 1 blister, with each blister containing 7 capsules.
The active ingredients are:
Tioconazole 100mg;
Tinidazole 150mg. These are substituted derivatives of the Imidazole compound with antimicrobial activity against anaerobic bacteria and fungi.

Treatment of vaginal infections caused by Candida, Trichomonas, Gardnerella,
and other mixed pathogens.
3. How to use and dosage of Gynotran
Usage instructions:
Target users: Women (not for individuals with an intact hymen).
Insert the Gynotran suppository deeply into the vagina. Do not swallow the medication or use it in any other way.
Insert one capsule deeply into the vagina at night for 7 days, or insert one capsule in the morning and one in the evening for 3 days.
It is recommended to insert the suppository in a lying position using the disposable gloves.
For elderly patients (over 65 years old): Follow the same instructions as above.
4. Contraindications of Gynotran
Gynotran is contraindicated in the following cases:
A history of hypersensitivity to any component of the medication.
The first trimester of pregnancy.
Women who are breastfeeding.
Patients with symptoms or a history of neurological disorders.
Patients with blood disorders.
Children.
5. Side effects of Gynotran
During the use of Gynotran, some unwanted reactions may occur, including:
The most common: Allergic reactions and a burning sensation at the site of use.
Rare cases include: Headache, fatigue, dark urine, blisters, itching, hives, and angioedema.
6. Management overdose or missed dose
Missed dose:
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose at the scheduled time.
Do not take a double dose.
Overdose:
If you accidentally take too much Gynotran, you should immediately inform your doctor to undergo gastric lavage if necessary. There is no specific antidote; only symptomatic treatment should be applied.
Store the medication in a cool, dry place, away from direct light, at a temperature below 30°C.
