4. Contraindications of Vilazodone

Starting dose (first 7 days): Take 10 mg/time x 1 time/day. Dose for the next 7 days: Take 20 mg/time x 1 time/day. Maintenance dose: Oral 40 mg/time x 1 time/day

6. Precautions when using Vilazodone


Treatment with Vilazodone drug with high dose or prolonged, can cause side effects such as:
Cardiovascular: Palpitations c, ventricular extrasystoles. Digestive disorders: Decreased appetite, diarrhea, nausea, dry mouth, vomiting, dyspepsia, flatulence, gastroenteritis Nervous: Sedation, migraine, developmental disorders, dizziness , paresthesia, tremor. Psychiatric: Insomnia, nightmares, fatigue, restlessness, decreased libido, panic attacks, mania. Vision: Dry eyes, blurred vision, cataracts. Genitourinary: Erectile dysfunction, delayed ejaculation. Urinary: Hematuria. Skin and soft tissue: Night sweats, skin rash, angioedema, urticaria, pruritus. Body as a whole: Anaphylaxis, multi-organ failure. 7. Vilazodone drug interactions


Interactions with other drugs:
Avoid combining Vilazodone with other drugs that can affect the Serotonergic neurotransmitter system such as:
MAOIs, SSRIs, SNRIs. Triptans Buspirone Tramadol Tryptophan Avoid combining Vilazodone with NSAIDs, Aspirin and Warfarin, because it can cause clotting disorders, increasing the risk of abnormal bleeding.
