Vietnamese people mainly encounter inorganic stones, of which calcium oxalate stones account for > 80%, stones often exist in the form of a mixture of chemical components. Without preventive measures, the recurrence of a kidney stone is almost inevitable. It is estimated that the risk of recurrence is 30 to 40% at 5 years and 50 to 70% at 10 years. This recurrence will appear more easily if the disease has started in a young person (before 30-40 years old).
