Acute intussusception is a pathological state in which the two upper and lower intestines intertwine, causing mechanical intestinal obstruction syndrome, forming an intussusception of the intestinal lumen, rapidly developing necrosis of the intestine. The following article focuses on the characteristics, recognition and treatment of acute intussusception in breastfed infants.
