Uses of Ribazid
Ribazid contains Ribavirin, a synthetic nucleotide with a guanosine-like structure. The drug inhibits viral replication by interfering with RNA and DNA synthesis, ultimately inhibiting protein synthesis and viral replication. Ribazid's antiviral effect is mainly on susceptible virus-infected cells.
