Fatty liver is a condition in which the amount of fat in the liver accounts for more than 5% of the liver's weight. The use of alcohol and alcoholic beverages in Vietnam is quite common, especially among men. It is estimated that 70% of Vietnamese men drink alcohol and 1 in 4 people use alcohol and beer at harmful levels, equivalent to 6 cups of beer per day. As a result, the number of cases of fatty liver caused by alcohol increased rapidly, causing many difficulties for treatment.
