Ecotrin, generically known as Aspirin, is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. It is used to reduce fever and relieve mild to moderate pain caused by conditions such as muscle aches, toothaches, the common cold, and headaches. It is also used to reduce pain and swelling in inflammatory arthritis conditions.
