Radioisotopes have been widely used in the diagnosis and treatment of tumors. Imaging with radioisotopes can be done using scanners, gamma chambers or SPECT, PET machines, combined with CT scanners. Any device used to create images with radioisotopes has its own imaging principles and advantages.
