Department of Gastroenterology - Hepatobiliary - Urology - Vinmec Times City International Hospital was established in 2018, is one of many steps of Vinmec healthcare system, aiming to turn Vinmec Times City into a modern, leading and comprehensive surgical center in Vietnam. Currently, the Center has successfully applied high-tech surgery (endoscopic surgery, robot surgery, ...) with modern surgical equipment such as bipolar scalpel, ultrasound, Argon, vascular welding knife, Cusa, Laser. gradually replace traditional surgical treatment (open surgery) to effectively treat complex Gastrointestinal - Urological diseases.

Functions:

  • Surgical treatment (including open surgery, laparoscopic and robotic surgery) for pathology and trauma, focusing on organs/organs in the abdomen.
  • Digestion includes: esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, anus-rectum, gallbladder, spleen. Urology includes: Kidneys, ureters, bladder, urethra, prostate gland and some pathologies of genital organs and pelvic floor.
  • Cancer surgery includes: Digestive, Urological, Breast cancer.
  • The unit also treats surgically related diseases of the skin, soft tissues of the abdominal wall and hernia of intra-abdominal viscera.
