Functions/Responsibilities: ICU opens 24/7, provides emergency service and treat emergency cases of different specialization: Internal, Surgery, Obstetrics, Pediatrics. ICU has a well-trained team of Doctors and Medical staffs, with specialty on multiple fields of ICU, along with international certificates such as ACLS (Advanced ICU Adult), PALS (Advanced ICU Neo), FCCS, as well as constantly update on medical regimen and latest emergency technique such as E-PCR to ensure an active respond to all situations.

ICU ís also equipped with modern specialized ambulance; professional ventilator system, monitor machine to constantly update vital signs, automated external defibrillator (AED), specialized stretcher for standard emergency and multiple trauma.... Patient gets an accurate evaluation and classification of health condition according to the Australian Classification Scale in Emergency - Toxicology (ATS), apply appropriate emergency treatment based on priority.

Upon arrival at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), the patient will receive comprehensive care, with multidisciplinary collaboration among specialized departments (Team-Based Care) immediately upon admission. This approach ensures precision, promptness, and high reliability to facilitate swift recovery from critical conditions and stabilization
The ICU is fully equipped to manage emergency situations and provide treatment for various critical conditions, including:
Internal Medicine Emergencies
Cardiac Arrest and Acute Coronary Syndrome, including acute heart failure, managed according to American College of Cardiology guidelines
Acute Stroke Management
Severe Infections
Neurological Emergencies, such as coma and seizures
Respiratory Emergencies, including respiratory failure, pulmonary embolism, and exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
Abdominal Emergencies, including acute pancreatitis and gastrointestinal hemorrhage
Surgical Emergencies, such as cholelithiasis, choledocholithiasis, with techniques for percutaneous or endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) to reduce the need for surgery, acute appendicitis, and urolithiasis
Trauma Care, with a red alert system for severe polytrauma patients requiring urgent surgical intervention, ensuring timely assessment and surgery
Pediatric Critical Care
Obstetric Emergencies with abnormal maternal conditions
Toxicology Emergencies involving acute cases such as myocardial infarction, stroke, traumatic brain injury, burns, polytrauma, vital sign instability, acute poisoning, and ischemic stroke
Bronchoscopy
Renal Replacement Therapy, including dialysis and advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Postoperative Intensive Care, for critically ill patients following major surgeries
