On December 17th, the “Run for Love, Run to Win Breast Cancer” running event of PinkWin Run closed with the enthusiastic participation of 500 participants. It also marked the end of Vinmec's PinkWin journey in the past few months.
The PinkWin Run in Hanoi brought warmth to the chilly 10-degree Celsius weather and light morning rain with the presence of 500 women and their families gathered to participate. Notably, the event also saw the participation of actress Hong Diem and young athletes on the track. Sharing the determination to win the pink race, everyone aimed to convey more strength to thousands of patients fighting breast cancer each day. On the same morning, the southern bridgehead in Ho Chi Minh City welcomed over 200 pink warriors participating in the PinkWin Run. Regardless of where they came from, all the participants in the PinkWin Run shared the same starting line with a common goal, which was to win the fight against breast cancer together.
Throughout the course of three months, PinkWin successfully reached nearly 3000 women, spanning from the Northern to the Southern regions. Among them, 257 cases were referred for further diagnostic intervention by doctors, and 1154 cases were requested for mammography to accurately assess the health condition.
With the message "Turn Love into Action to Win Breast Cancer," Vinmec has successfully brought the dedication of its team of doctors closer to the community. Vinmec takes pride in the special involvement of ambassadors such as People's Artist Le Khanh and actress Hong Diem, along with the pink warriors in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Hai Phong. Through the PinkWin campaign, Vinmec has made significant contributions to improving the early treatment rate for breast cancer through a series of free consultations and examinations, resulting in a remarkable chance of recovery of up to 90%.
