To promote community healthcare and raise awareness about the importance of breast cancer screening and prevention, Fujifilm Vietnam collaborates with Vinmec Healthcare System in the Community Awareness Program on Breast Cancer 2023.
This is an initiative from the Breast Center of Vinmec Times City International Hospital aimed at enhancing community awareness and promoting early prevention, detection, and treatment of breast cancer. As part of the program, Vinmec offers free breast cancer screening and examinations for all women from October to December.
According to Ph.D., MD. Nguyen Thu Huong, Head of the Breast Center at Vinmec Times City International General Hospital, Vinmec has conducted screenings for more than 1,000 women in the past two years with the desire for all women, especially those above 40 years old, to undergo regular annual screenings using modern screening techniques.
To encourage Vietnamese women to care for their health and prevent breast cancer, Fujifilm Vietnam is one of the entities partnering with Vinmec Healthcare System in the Community Awareness Program on Breast Cancer 2023 themed "Turn Love into Action to Win Breast Cancer". Women aged 40 and above are guided to use a combination of mammography and ultrasound screening methods to ensure early detection of any suspicious signs.
For women under 40, regular ultrasounds and clinical examinations will help detect any suspicious indications during the development process, thereby providing them with access to high-quality medical services.
