Ficdal acts through the mechanism of inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, changing properties in the plasma membrane.
Ficdal drug is well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract after oral administration, distributed mostly in tissues and secretions, urine and prostate gland. Metabolized in the liver, then eliminated in feces and urine.

Patients need to use the right dose and not abuse the drug to avoid fungal superinfection, drug resistance in sensitive bacteria. Pregnant and lactating women must be prescribed and strictly monitored by a doctor when taking the drug. Patients with high blood pressure when taking Ficdal may have a photodynamic response to sunlight. Children taking Ficdal may experience increased intracranial pressure along with fontanelles.

4. Ficdal drug interactions

Interactions of Ficdal drugs that may occur during use are as follows:
Concomitant use of Ficdal with antacids containing aluminum, calcium, or magnesium may reduce the effectiveness of the drug. Co-administration of Ficdal with Iron and Bismuth subsalicylate, may reduce the bioavailability of the drug. Co-administration of Ficdal with barbiturates, phenytoin and carbamazepine may reduce the half-life of the drug and increase toxicity on the liver and kidneys. Co-administration of Ficdal with Warfarin enhances the effect of anticoagulants.

5. Dosage and usage

How to use
Patients need to take Ficdal during or after meals with plenty of water in an upright or standing position to avoid gastrointestinal irritation. Avoid taking with milk, because it can reduce the effect of the drug. Dosage in adults

The drug is specific to many sensitive bacteria, so patients should take the drug according to the indications to avoid fungal infections and drug resistance.
