3. Dosage - How to take Aukamox 1g


Absorption of Aukamox 1g is not affected by food. Patients should take Aukamox 1g at the beginning of a meal to minimize drug intolerance in the gastrointestinal tract. Do not use Aukamox 1g for more than 14 days without re-examination.
Dosage of Aukamox 1g refer to the following:
Adults and children > 12 years old and over 40 kg: The recommended dose is 500 - 625mg Amoxycillinx 3 times/day or 1000mg Amoxycillin x 2 times/day. Children 2-12 years old: The recommended dose is 30-60mg Amoxycillin/kg/day. Children < 2 years old: 30-40mg Amoxycillin/kg/day. Reduce the dose of Amoxycillin in liver and kidney failure.
