Arthrivit is a product of OPV Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, made in the form of long white film-coated tablets with the active ingredients Glucosamine sulfate potassium chloride 50 mg (equivalent to glucosamine 295.9mg) and Chondroitin sulfate sodium 400mg (equivalent to chondroitin 315.79mg).
Glucosamine is found in chitin, mucopolysaccharid and mucoprotein. Glucosamine is involved in the production of glycosaminoglycans to build cartilage tissue in the body. In addition, Glucosamine is also present in ligaments and tendons. Therefore, Glucosamine is indicated in the treatment of joint diseases, including osteoarthritis.
