Can Ternofortit be used while breastfeeding?

My sister is still taking hepatitis B virus inhibitor (Ternofortit) but since the pregnancy, she has stopped taking it. Now, after giving birth, if I want to drink again, do I need to have a blood test before taking it or can I still drink it as before? The doctor asked me to use Ternofortit while breastfeeding? Will the medicine have any effect on the baby since you are still breastfeeding? I thank you doctor.

Your sister infected with hepatitis B should monitor her liver status periodically, especially when stopping the drug or pregnant and breastfeeding, when intending to take the drug again. Tenofovir currently has no evidence of toxicity to a breastfed baby at the usual dose for hepatitis B.
