Currently, the method of ureteral stricture reconstruction is receiving much attention and is being applied by hospitals. There are many methods of ureteral reconstruction that can endoscopically dilate the narrowed segment and then connect the two ureteral segments together, or connect the ureter directly to the kidney or to the bladder.

Most urinary system dysfunctions are asymptomatic, silently difficult to detect, often detected at a late stage requiring reconstructive methods to restore urinary system function.
