Complications of Horton's disease
Horton's disease is an arteritis, mainly localized in the temporal artery. The risk of the disease is higher in the elderly, from 60 years of age and older. Symptoms of the disease are persistent headaches and visual disturbances. If the disease is not treated early, it can lead to blindness.
