Teething is the phenomenon of teeth coming through the baby's gums for the first time. Baby teeth start to grow when the baby is 4-7 months old, on average at 6 months old. This phenomenon can cause the baby to have a fever, drool, be uncomfortable, eat less, have diarrhea or cry more.
