The patient is suspected of having a small liver fluke infection. Evaluation of viral markers showed HBsAg (-), anti HBs (+), anti HAV IgM (-), and anti HCV Ab (-) and normal serum tumor markers. Stool test for eggs by direct method was negative 3 times.
