Movement disorders are a phenomenon of decreased or complete loss of control of muscles in the body such as the tongue, lips, face, trunk, limbs, etc., making it difficult for the patient to perform daily activities. Any damage to the brain in the area responsible for movement-related functions can cause movement disorders. Movement disorders depend on the extent and location of brain damage.
