What to do when a child has a febrile seizure?
Febrile seizures occur in approximately 3% of children. They are most common in infants and young children, from 3 months to 5 years of age. They are associated with fever but without evidence of central nervous system infection or another identified cause such as metabolic disorder or previous non-febrile seizures.
