Sancinor is a semi-synthetic antibiotic of the 4th generation Cephalosporin group because it has a broader spectrum of action than 3rd generation Cephalosporins. The drug is used by injection to treat many types of bacterial infections by inhibiting mucopeptide synthesis in the bacterial cell wall.
