Congenital hip dislocation is when a baby is born with an unstable hip joint, due to abnormal formation of the hip joint in the early stages of fetal development. This is a rare congenital malformation, if not examined and intervened early, it can leave musculoskeletal sequelae, pelvic deformities affecting the aesthetics and reproductive function of girls.
