How to detect polyhydramnios during pregnancy
Amniotic fluid is the amount of fluid that surrounds and protects the fetus throughout pregnancy. Pregnant women are diagnosed with polyhydramnios if the amount of amniotic fluid is 2 liters or more. If the amniotic fluid increases to 3 liters, the pregnant woman has severe polyhydramnios and needs to be carefully monitored.
