Peripheral vascular disease refers to diseases of the arterial system, with the exception of heart and cerebrovascular disease. Disease includes all problems related to the flow of blood in the arteries leading to muscles and organs. If not detected and treated in time, the patient can have limb necrosis, have to remove the joint or amputate the limb and face a high risk of heart attack, fatal stroke.
